"Un enfant dans la ville" was originally a Michel Fugain album, a record that already told a story. Now it's a musical comedy filmed for television, giving life to its characters and taking up the story of the record, that of today's generation, not quite at ease in their sneakers and trying to untie the laces of truth.

An aspiring teacher (Eduardo Noriega) falls for a maid (Ingrid Rubio) in a village where people claim they see the Virgin Mary.

In a run-down neighborhood, Zoe and her little brother Theo are left to fend for themselves. A young adolescent, Zoe is a ball of anger haunted by an intimate terror. Theo, still a child, flees reality into a fantastical world.
